VectorPoint Health’s mission is to reduce suffering and promote recovery by empowering you to navigate your mental wellness and learn how to balance your work, life, family, and past experiences.
WHAT IS MENTAL WELLNESS
Mental Wellness is the proactive process of balancing your psychological, emotional, relational, and physical well-being to experience your best self in the present moment.
HOW VECTORPOINT HEALTH GOT ITS NAME
A vector describes the movement between two points; where you are and where you want to be.
Kevin Cuchia, LCSW founded VectorPoint Health to reduce the mental health stigma of seeking help to address the impact caused by enduring high-stress experiences and environments in the military, medical, first responder, and other underserved communities. Sometimes we all need a little help finding our bearings and charting our course in the right direction and at the right speed to arrive at our purpose point. Through an action-focused, outcomes-oriented approach, VectorPoint Health helps you navigate your mental wellness to find your true north.
ABOUT KEVIN CUCHIA
Kevin Cuchia comes from a military family and made the decision to enter the mental health field in 2013 due to the high rates of suicide of military service members, veterans, and other underserved populations including first responders, medical professionals, and the LGBTQ+ community. Kevin has over 8 years of experience working with all ranks of helping professionals and their family members.
He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned his Masters of Science of Social Work and his Trauma Treatment Graduate Certificate from the University of Tennessee in 2015. He is currently a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional by Evergreen Certifications and is a Certified EMDR Therapist by the EMDR International Association.
Kevin has lived in Nashville, Tennessee for 23 years and formerly worked in the music business before transitioning to the mental health field. When he’s not working as a therapist, trainer, or consultant, he enjoys playing music and spending time outdoors with his family and dogs.
